Hi Mariita and Debbie - I really laughed at that one!!!! But I have news for you re: Sid Davidoff!!!! The other night, as I am recouperating from this pneumonia/bronchitis thing, I was watching PBS. Lo and behold - there was Sid - talking to a candidate for the US Senate and giving them advice on how they should go, etc. I couldn't believe it! He still looks the same (a little less hair). Evidently he is still very much a big gun in the Democratic Party. I was blown away, David watched with the utmost curiosity!!! and then shrugged his shoulders. When I think of Sid and look at David - well, I am so glad David came into my life. He is the rock that anchors this family and Stephanie and I would be lost without him.

However, your story is hysterical! I still remember how you (Mariita) immediately cleaned up the kitchen - putting everything where you could and when we came through the door you were like Loretta Young - amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Debbie, it was a pleasure to be here for you. Wish you could have lived closer and we could have done more things together! How is Jordan?

I know if Stephanie was here she would say "Hi" and give her love to all. (she's in school right now.

Take care - love to everyone....Ginger

: Dear Ginger,
: (Mami' is dictating to me)
: Sid Davidoff is stiing in the kitchen, for everyone's information, he was the Mayor of NYC's personal assistant and he dated our cousin ?!?!? but I digress, anyway.....he is sitting in our kitchen , in Bay Shore, Long Island, NY. (Mom say's it was a clean kitchen) He is sitting by the wall, and two cucharachas come (gingerly) up the wall !!! He looks with non-chalance and promplty whacks them to a pulp with one fell swoop !! Mami' was so embarrased and Ginger said, "My Hero",
: Mami' says she loves you all and when work slows down she will be here too much!!
: There is a special on spatulas at HomeDepot today, so I have to get going......thanks ever so for the kind words Mi Prima. You and your family were there for me in California when I needed my family most !!Love Ya !!
: Con mucho carino,
: Mariita y Debbie
: p.s. My Mom looks forward to the challenge of Mastering the WebMaster..We would like to remind you that the WebMaster master used to change your diaper and feed you!!
: : Hi Eddie, Mariita and Debbie,

: : I was so happy to hear from all of you. Hope everyone is well. Right now I am fighting pneumonia (again!) but I have the upper hand on it. Each day is getting better and better.

: : Eddie - I really don't know if I ever met you. I am Iris's daughter and I really don't remember meeting anyone from the Margo, Rafael, or Eduardo's side of the family. Mili said that we met because I spilled something on her dress - I have already apologized many times for that. I didn't think I was that mean! Your first marriage, and your present one sound wonderful. Your first wife turned her "dis"ability into an "ability" and that is to be commended.

: : Have you lived in New York all of your life? Were you born there? As for me and my brother Frank - well, we were both born in New York (he in Brooklyn, me in Manhattan). By the way - for those who do not know - when Frank was born he was the biggest baby born at Brooklyn Hospital until that time. They even put up a plaque in the nursery with his vital information! The first time I saw him - if you can imagine this - I was looking in the nursery with my step-father and there was Frank - right in the middle and surrounding him were all the other babies. At that time he looked like he was 6 months old!

: : Welcome to the web site - thanks for your positive entries.

: : Mariita and Debbie - hello! Debbie - do you have a spatula yet? That's a joke folks - and she will understand! Honestly, I think the Webmaster should remain anonymous! That way he or she can be impartial!

: : Mariita, why don't you tell the "Garbage" story - I still think of that and I still tell it to many people - they always laugh! You could also tell some stories about your Mom and Dad which would be lovely. I have very loving memories of your mother as she is the one person who helped me when I was going through my teen dilemmas. I do have to say she sat my mother down and gave her the one-two about not telling me about the facts of life! My Mom was, needless to say, embarassed and so Titi Blanca took over. Thanks Titi Blanca.

: : I will say that this spring and summer I got to know Debbie and she is a delightful person. Funny, I would look at her and could close my eyes and see that cute little girl that was about 7 when I left New York? The things you think of when you're old!!!!!!! Anyway - welcome to everyone.................Ginger

: :
: : : To the WebMaster:
: : : Why the anonimity? Identify yourself.
: : : We are looking foward to all the good you have to say about Santa Blanca !! As all our other Tias are and were.
: : : Identify yourself and then we will talk.
: : :
: : : Mariita Lopez Arreche y La Hija, Debbie
: : : : Wait!!!

: : : : I haven't gotten to my Tia Blanca stories yet!
