Well, I didn't come to California to break into the movies - I can tell you that! If my Mom said that - well, what can I say. I had friends here and when I saw the State I loved it and decided to stay. I am not at all sorry I left New York - though I do miss the "deli sandwiches and new pickles" - and of course my cousins that live in North Bayshore, Long Island!!! Hi Mariita! Hi Debbie!.
There was a lot of opportunity here and as they say - I decided to seize the moment! I married both of my husbands here (both born and raised here) and we adopted our lovely daughter here. She is truly a California native. My brother lives here now and since Mami passed away it is always comforting for both of us to be near one another. My husband David, our daughter Stephanie and myself love the State and where we live. That's about all for that story! I will have to post my "burrito and taco" story soon. In fact I will do that tonight before I forget it. Thanks Curious - hope that answers your question.
