Wow, what a difference a few days without being on-line make! I am truly blown away at the inconsistencies of the person (or persons) who call themselves "Truth Teller" and Louis Laporte".
That we knew about our great-grandfather - yes I remember having some kind of conversation with our grandfather on this subject. Re: grandfather killing the trolley conductor - well that's news to me! If that REALLY happened then it is really a closely guarded secret. One so closely guarded that no one else in the family that I have ever contacted even suggested. Our mother told us about the fact that Salvador was killed by a trolley, however, what she told us was that the man was tried and convicted and sent to jail. That's a far cry from the story you tell. I have heard the same story from Titi Rafa and Aunt Blanche. Now, either you (Truth Teller) are grabbing at straws, making up stories or you are hoping someone will be having the same hallucinations as you!
Regarding my brother Frank, the Webmaster and Carl Jr. (Please note - these are all different names - ) My brother Frank never insulted your brother Eddie. What I saw and read was that he was welcoming him into the site. I have no idea who Webmaster is, but I am sure that whoever they (or he or she) are they are probably wondering why they started this page in the first place! My brother Frank, Carl Jr., and myself all have written remembrances from the heart and some of mine were with the help of Titi Yuli who so kindly wrote to me about my early childhood. We have all shared stories about our parents, our siblings and ourselves. My brother shared with you his inner thoughts and private sorrows with the piece he wrote for Mami's memorial service. Carl wrote about his trip to Opa Locka that must have brought back not only good, but also some bad memories. I wrote about Aunt Donna and Uncle Tony and a weekend in their life. You, however, write of ill will.
You write to my brother and say that he beat up little girls? This must have been one of those "hallucinations" you were having. My brother may have his faults (don't we all?) however, beating up little girls has never entered his mind and I assure you - never will. You cannot find a more empathic human being than Frankie.
You get so confused by attributing remarks made by other people to him. Oh yes, what was that - yes - now I remember - how much you loved my mother, how you felt so sorry for her and yet you call her a liar and you desecrate her memory and the memories of our ancestors? However, you LOVE the lawyer who Anonymous wrote about!!!!! Well then, you must be in her league of lirs, cheats and embezzlers! Oh, only white collar crime? Taking from the rich to further line the pockets of the criminal - how absolutely holy of you!
Do you also want to answer the charges about child molestation, drug abuse, terrorism and other things he wrote about? I do not have access or memory of this information, however, whoever this person is he knows this family a lot better than you evidently know it! And whoever this person is - it is NOT Frankie, Carl Jr., or I. From his writings I gather this person is in his 60's or maybe even early 70's and has gleaned much information through the years. We would all do well to take his advice!
